Yes, I have finally gone an entire week without blogging. I feel the withdrawal symptoms coming on. The good news is that the pilot for a home improvement show that I'm working on is 100% done, all of the DVDs have been burned and everyone is happy - a full 36 hours ahead of the official start of the 2010 NATPE Market in Las Vegas. I will return to the blogosphere on Thursday. I'll see everyone then.

I was surfing the Internet this afternoon and discovered that there are 15 different agencies within the State of Michigan that YouTube accounts.  Governor Jennifer Granholm has one, as does the Michigan Department of Agriculture, the Michigan Children's Trust Fund and a dozen other agencies. The interesting part is one of the agencies that doesn't have a YouTube account:  the Michigan Film Office. Yes, it's true.  The people who are responsible for promoting filmming in Michigan are one of the few agencies that don't have a YouTube account. Irony.  This is my definition of irony for today.

I have to admit that my New Year's Eve experiences have been immortalized in a comic strip. I'm not sure how Mike Witmer  of Pinkerton Park was able to capture so many of these details, but he did. Do you think I should ask Mike Witmer for royalties? Or should I wait to see what aspect of my life next appears in Pinkerton Park ?

Lt. Governor John Cherry confirmed this morning that he is ending his gubernatorial campaign that was never going anywhere in the first place.
