Sign, Sign, Everywhere A Sign

I was at one of the finer dining establishments in Detroit the other day for lunch. At one point during my meal, I had to step into the men's room.

And that is when I saw this sign on the wall.

Cleanliness is Next to What Again?
You know, I don't think this sign has been approved by the local health department.

But then again, maybe it has.

Hmmmm....I could go a few different ways here, but I stick with this one: if they placed that sign over the sink area, hands would probably get thoroughly cleaned after ever single visit....

Funny thing, when I saw that sign, I thought to myself, "I wonder what Words will say when I post this on my blog?"

Anyway, this sign was in fact over the sink. And as I think about it, the employees there do have very clean hands.

I have to confess, I had no idea who Hayley Williams  was prior to this morning nor did I have any idea who the band Paramore was. In fact, now that I do know, I'm not all that certain that I really care about Paramore. But I digress. The thing is, sometime last night, Hayley Williams' Twitter account was reportedly hacked. This resulted in a photo of Hayless Williams topless making its way onto the internet. Hayley Williams insists that it was a simple security breach. Personally, I can't help but feel that this smells too much like a publicity stunt. Either way, the photo is out there and a lot more people suddenly know who Hayley Williams is - coincidence or not. Oh, and yes - it has taken an enormous amount of restraint for me to not show the uncensored version of that photo.

Men's guide to buying lingerie for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is this Friday. As I surf the internet, one things that I keep noticing pretty much everywhere is guides for men who are buying lingerie as a gift this holiday. In fact, a quick search of Google tells me that there are currently more than 6.2 million lingerie gift buying guides available for men on-line. All of them promise to walk the fine line between helping a guy find something that he will like to see on the woman in his life yet still be something that she will want to wear. I haven't reviewed every single one of them, although it has been fun to make my way through as many of them as possible. Regardless, I suspect that everyone of those 6.2 million lingerie gift buy guides gets it wrong in one way or another. This, of course, is based purely on the feedback that I've overheard from significant others of friends. The good news is that as long as the guy gets to see the recipient wearing the gift at least once, it's still worth it.
