My Moral Dilemna
Okay - so I have this moral dilemna of sorts.
Mary Abraham - who is this incredibly talented musician; super wonderful person and who contributed music to my short film Sleepy Guy - is in a battle of the bands this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Memphis Smoke in Royal Oak. The winner of this gets to open for the Bare Naked Ladies.
However, at almost the same time that evening, the Detroit Tigers are in game one of the World Series.
The World F-ing Series!
Something that I've waited 22 years to see the Tigers play in again.
22 years.
Plus, Detroit will now officially be the first city to ever host the Super Bowl and the World Series in the same year.
But then there's Mary.
Amazing musician.
Super wonderful person who helped me out when I needed music for my film and never asked for anything in return.
It just kills me as to what I should do. I mean, I don't have tickets to the game - but there are going to be so many amazing parties downtown near Comerica Park when that game happens. It's going to be insane.
But again - there's Mary who has a coolness factor that pretty much does rank right up there with the Tigers in the World Series.
Ugh! What am I going to do?

Even if you leave early, just stop by and let her know you were there. Take a few photos and blog about it. I know it seems like everyone and their grandma has a camera nowadays, but that doesn't always mean that pictures get taken. I am sure your friend is geeked about being in the runnning.
