The Voices in Frank's Head

Keira Knightley Keira Knightley  - or rather her voice - is in the Syfy original movie Neverland , which premieres Sunday, December 4th and Monday, December 5th at 9/8c. When I saw the trailer for this one, two thoughts came to mind. First, I think this will be a really good movie. I like the idea of showing what Peter Pan was like before we got to know him in that classic tale. Second, this trailer confirms that Keira Knightley can indeed drive me wild with nothing more than her voice. I think it's because her voice reminds me of the rest of her.

The trailer for Keira Knightley's  new movie A Dangerous Method  is now on-line. I was excited about this movie when I first heard about it because: This film involves Keira Knightley getting spanked and I'm a pervert. However, as I watch the trailer, I have to confess that the film contains other exciting elements beyond simply spanking Keira Knightley. It looks like a really great and truly thought-provoking film from director  David Cronenberg and writer  Christopher Hampton . But I'm still a pervert.

When I first commented on The Playboy Club  on this blog, I talked about how the frequent voice overs from Hugh Hefner  provided one more level of distraction in an otherwise busy plotline. I recommended that they get rid of them and keep the focus on the club that he created; not the man who created them. Rachel Nichols Strangely enough, by the time the second episodes hit the airwaves, those voice overs were gone. My suspicion is that NBC decided to be cheap and aired the original version of the pilot, which always contains a few things that need to be tweaked. Thus, when the show got better, not enough people knew about it because a lot viewers gave up on the show after the first episode - or sometime even in the middle of the first episode. I continue to think that if the writing was a bit tighter, the show could be a hit. I finally got to see the new commercials for Chanel Coco Mademoiselle that feature Keira Knightley  in them. I was expected a lot from them since they were, after all, featuring Keira Knightley. However, it was simply amazing. The commercial was even better than the television show that it appeared in - and I liked the show a lot. If they gave out Academy Awards for commercials, this would be the hands down favorite to win it all.

Keira Knightley Shivers My Timbers Avast, me mateys! International Talk Like a Pirate Day has begun, at least on the East Coast and in most of the Midwest. My friends on the West Coast still have to wait a couple more hours for this magnificent event to start. (Arr... I do feel sorry for them, even if they do get to make it last a little later.) I will celebrate this occasion by watching Keira Knightley in all three of her Pirates of the Caribbean performances.

Rachel Nichols Started a Pillow Fight I had this really weird dream last night. In my dream, I was looking for the TV Guide  and walked into my living room to find it. Keira Knightley , Sienna Miller , Rachel Nichols , and Katy Perry  were all hanging out there for some reason. (Yes, I have excellent taste in guest stars for my dreams.) Anyway, I asked the ladies if they had seen my TV Guide but they ignored me. Instead of answering, Rachel Nichols started a pillow fight with the three other women. I remember being both excited by the pillow fight and irritated that they were ignoring me. I never did find my TV Guide , but - and here's the really weird part - after a moment, those pillows turned into giant ice cream cones. Four of the hottest women in the world were now having an ice cream fight in my living room. Keira Knightley Needs Consolation I got the best Christmas present I could ask for early this morning. It turns out that Keira Knightley , whom I have obsessed about for years now, has broken up with her boyfriend of the past five years. Now, where did I put my passport? Keira Knightley clearly needs someone to console her right now and I have a plane to catch.

Keira Knightley Keira Knightley  recently told an interviewer that she hates clothes - or at least she hates shopping for clothes. I suppose there is a simple remedy for this.  Keira Knightley could simply walk around naked all the time. I'll be sure to mention this suggestion to her when next our paths cross. And then I'll be sure to duck.

The Best of Keira Knightley I'm a huge fan of Keira Knightley . She is both very talented and very, very beautiful. Therefore, I was thrilled when one of my friends sent me a link the Ultimate Keira Knightley Gallery . It's 172 photos of her, all in one place. I'm supposed to spend all of this afternoon editing. However, I don't think that's going to happen.

One of the great things about Jane Austen  is that her work lends itself so well a modern adaptation. Her stories can move across time without losing their inherent beauty. Her plots still feel compelling, and her characters are still believable, almost two centuries later. Through her pen, the English language attains a kind of brilliance that few other authors have been able to bring to it. Some of the modern adaptations, such Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley , have stayed quite close to Jane Austen's original text. Other storytellers have decided to have a little fun with her work. With that in mind, I'm thrilled to have found Jane Austen's Fight Club through the vastness of the internet.

Keira Knightley  is on the cover of the Russian edition of Elle  this month. I'm just glad that they decided to get rid of the second "L" in the magazine's title. Otherwise, it would've been covering Keira's face.

It looks like Keira Knightley  is out of the running to play Peggy Carter in an upcoming Captain America  movie. According to E! , British actress Alice Eve  is currently the front runner to play this role. I'm a little disappointed that Keira Knightley won't be a part of this project. However, I'm still looking forward to this movie.

There's a rumor going around that the Captain America movie might finally happen and Keira Knightley might have a starring role in it. I'll forgo the obvious smart ass comments about a British actress staring in a Captain America movie. It is, after all, Keira Knightley. The internet has created some interesting jobs. For example, there's actually someone at Izismile.com who got the job of creating their list of the Top 99 Most Beautiful Women of 2010 . It wasn't surprising to me that some of the beautiful women that I've blogged about before made their cut. Jessica Alba came in at number 5, for example. There were also several models from Victoria's Secret who made their list. This, also, was also incredibly not surprising. I would have also ranked Kristen Bell a lot higher than number 76, which is where the folks at Izismile.com ranked her. However,  that's just my opinion. Of course, the one aspect to lists like these that I've always found to be interesting who is not on it. I know there are a lot of beautiful women and a lot of beautiful celebrities. In fact, I'm often quite thankful for these facts. Still, there are certain omissions this list of beautiful women that simply leave me puzzled. How can any...

It's a good thing that Keira Knightley's  career in mainstream Hollywood films and stage productions is going well. If she had to, she could no longer make porn flicks. At least not in Australia. The geniuses at the Australia Classification Board have decided to ban small-breasted women, such as Keira Knightley, from appearing in pornographic films and publications. They say that such images of woman with small breasts encourages pedophilia and child molestation. The full story is available here . I tried thinking of something that's actually more stupid than banning women like Keira Knightley from appearing in porn. However, I simply can't think of any such thing. And yes, before anyone bothers to ask, my main reason for writing this post was indeed to be able to include the words "Keira Knightley" and "porn" in the same sentence. I am a man of simple pleasures.

It's shocking how sometimes good news follows even more good news. Yesterday was the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show . I've already blogged about how spectacular it was so there's no need for me to repeat. And today I learned that Keira Knightley - one of the most beautiful actresses in the business - is once again single. Thank you, God. Thank you. I can hardly await to hear what good news arrives tomorrow. More news @ Keira Knightley single again?

It looks like Keira Knightley is going to beat out Anne Hathaway and Scarlett Johansson for the chance to play Eliza Doolittle in an upcoming adaptation of My Fair Lady . All I have to say is, thank you gods of cinema. Thank you. I adore Anne Hathaway. I loved her in The Devil Wears Prada - a role that I don't think any other actress could have pulled off better. I also don't have nothing against Scarlett Johansson. I mean, how could anyone have anything against a beautiful woman with an extensive comic book collection ? However, I can't help but feel that Keira Knightley was simply born to play roles like this one. There is something about the way that Keira Knightley carries herself and her general presence that makes her particularly believable in a rags to riches story like My Fair Lady . I look forward to seeing Keira Knightley on the big screen as Eliza Doolittle.

I have come to love Google Alerts . Every time someone posts something on-line about certain subjects, I get an email alert with a link to the post. It doesn't matter where it was posted, Google finds it for me and lets me know about it. I use it to track everything from some of my favorite celebrities, such as Keira Knightley , to some of the groups that I'm a part of, such as Detroit Synergy . It was my Detroit Synergy alert that made me cringe the other day. Along with all of the expected references to their Shop Detroit project was a reference to the group on Metromix. I cringed. Oh, yes, I did. I remembered all of the problems that Metromix had caused for me in the past. I also remembered Michael Higdon's commentary from this past August about how Metromix is a detriment to society. Keira Knightley has a new role as spokesperson for Amnesty International. She appears in a new ad for the human rights group with a banner that reads, " Protect the Human " to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the U.N. Declaration on Universal Human Rights . I've always been a fan of Keira Knightley. She's beautiful and an amazing actress. I've also been a fan of Amnesty International. I was active in an Amnesty International chapter while I was in college. The fact that Keira Knightley and Amnesty International are combining forces very well may be the coolest combination since pizza and beer. Well, okay. I suppose that is a bit of an overstatement. Regardless, the fact that Keira Knightley is representing Amnesty International is still a very cool thing in my opinion.
