I Hate Film Treatments

I have come to learn many things as I endeavor to make my next film. One of them is that writing a treatment for a film, which is usually only 40 pages, actually requires more effort than writing a 100 page script.

This, my friends, is irony.

Sort of like short cuts that are miles out of the way-but hey, there's no traffic! Completely unrelated, but I get what you're saying...you must have either a lot of patience or a lot of drive...or both!

My drive comes from one simple fact, if I don't make it at this, I'll eventually have to go back to selling insurance.

And I hated the insurance business even more than I hate writing film treatments.
