Worst Television Show. Ever.

Jamie Junger, who was one of Tiger Woods's mistresses, will reportedly co-host a new reality television series with Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, who was one of Jesse James's mistresses. According to its creator, it's all about celebrities who cheat on their loved ones.

The show was created by Bobby Goldstein, who created the original Cheaters. According to the pitch, this show will try to "catch celebrity cheaters with their pants down."

Jamie Junger and Michelle McGee will presumably rely on their experiences being skanky whores in order to better identify the other skanky whores that celebrities might have affairs with.

I understand that everyone in Hollywood tries to transform their 15 minutes of fame into a full-fledged career. However, this is simply too tacky for words. In my opinion, it's an embarrassment to television.

I know that the celebrities in question don't want to have their private lives aired on national television.

I'm fairly confident that the spouses or significant others who are being cheated on don't want these affairs aired on national television either. It simply rubs salt in some deep emotional wounds.

I also can't help but feel that having a show like this on the air drags American culture that much deeper into the muck.

In the interest of full disclosure, though, I should point out that in previous relationships I have been both the cheater and the cheatee.  Neither, I have to say, is pleasant position.

Having lived through both sides of an affair, I can't imagine Jamie Junger and Michelle McGee providing any real entertainment value with their show. There certainly won't be anything of profound cultural value.

Their show is a train wreck that, at least a certain segment of the American viewing public won't be able to refrain from watching.

And that's just sad.
