Blogging for the Beast

As of this moment, my earnings from Google Adsense (those ads that you see on this blog and over on my neighborhood one) for the month of October have amounted to $6.66. Intellectually, I know that this is purely a coincidence.

However, this is one of those coincidences in life that still manages to make me feel a wee bit nervous. The fact that this is happening on Halloween only makes it worse.

Will someone please click on one of those links so my final total for the month isn't $6.66?

Update @ 8:42 p.m.
Thank you, everyone!  I no longer have to worry about that ominous total for this month.

Ehhh... The few extra bucks means that I get to make one more trip to Del Taco each month.

In my opinion, it's worth it. However, I also respect that there are a lot of bloggers who disagree.

I have to confess, I had no idea who Hayley Williams  was prior to this morning nor did I have any idea who the band Paramore was. In fact, now that I do know, I'm not all that certain that I really care about Paramore. But I digress. The thing is, sometime last night, Hayley Williams' Twitter account was reportedly hacked. This resulted in a photo of Hayless Williams topless making its way onto the internet. Hayley Williams insists that it was a simple security breach. Personally, I can't help but feel that this smells too much like a publicity stunt. Either way, the photo is out there and a lot more people suddenly know who Hayley Williams is - coincidence or not. Oh, and yes - it has taken an enormous amount of restraint for me to not show the uncensored version of that photo.

I was surfing the web last night, looking for more news on Kristen Bell . I came across this post on TMZ.com about Kristen at the beach . They were critical of the photo of her to the left, but admired her in the one to the right. I don't care what the folks at TMZ say. Granny shades or not. Hair up or down. Kristen Bell looks darn hot.
